Messaging & Communication (SMS / A2P 10DLC)

HoyaList may send recurring automated SMS messages to contractors (and, when applicable, clients) who voluntarily opt in. These messages may include account notifications, homeowner project alerts, contractor demand notifications, and profile reminders.

A. Consent (Opt-In)

Website/App Registration: During registration, users may provide a mobile number and give express written consent by checking an optional SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is not pre-checked and is not required to create an account.
Keyword Opt-In: Users may opt in by texting START to our designated business number when that option is available.

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages related to platform notifications, project alerts, and account updates. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply.

Consent is not a condition of purchase.

B. Opt-Out and Help

STOP: Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
HELP: Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at hoyalist@hoyalistapp.com.
Re-subscribe: Reply START after opting out to re-subscribe.

C. Message Frequency & Fees

Message frequency varies and may include up to 4–8 messages per month depending on activity.
Message & data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Important: Consent is not a condition of purchase. Messages are sent only to users who have provided express consent. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We may share limited information with service providers (such as Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering SMS messages on our behalf. HoyaList maintains records of SMS opt-in consent in accordance with carrier compliance requirements.
